After a complete analysis of the property we arrive at a realistic market value. The goal is to reach the fair market value for the buyer while ensuring that the property is exposed to the greatest number of potential buyers.
Typically, the target sale price will be within five percent of what the property is worth, as determined by our years of experience and expertise in appraisals.
When the sale includes equipment, rolling stock and, sometimes, goodwill, we’ll call in other experts to assist in the evaluation.
Our clients also appreciate our skills in negotiation. In situations where a bidder attempts an unreasonably low offer for an existing business, our experience helps us to determine what it would cost to construct and equip a new facility. Sometimes, during these discussions, we’ll have other experts on the phone, providing additional information.
